Liability Insurance and Policies

South Florida Security Group is protected by comprehensive liability insurance that protects all of our officers while on duty. This coverage includes:
Worker’s Compensation
Statuary amounts as required by

Florida’s Workers Compensation laws. Employer’s liability coverage is $500,000.00.

Commercial General Liability

Coverage limit is $1 million per occurrence and $2 million aggregate.

Officers are covered in these three areas:

  1. Bodily injury

Injury to a person other than a South Florida Security Group employee caused by an event for which South Florida Security Group may be legally liable.

  1. Property Damage

Damage to property of others caused by an event for which South Florida Security Group may be held legally liable.

  1. Personal Injury

False arrest, detention or imprisonment; malicious prosecution; or oral or written publication of material that slanders or libels a person or organization for which South Florida Security Group may be held liable.

Automobile Liability

This insurance policy provides legal liability protection for claims involving bodily injury or property damage for all South Florida Security Group owned vehicles used in the business of South Florida Security Group. Legal liability extends to liability resulting from the use of client-owned vehicles operated by South Florida Security Group employees while in the course of business. Collision and comprehensive physical damage is self-insured. The limit per occurrence is $500,000.00 combined single limit.

South Florida Security Group requires the following procedures from its’ management.

  • All managers shall be committed to and support this policy.
  • All employment decisions shall be based upon the principles of equal employment opportunities.
  • Alleged acts of unlawful harassment shall receive prompt investigation and, as warranted, disciplinary action up to and including termination.
  • All employees shall be informed of South Florida Security Group’s commitment to equal opportunity.
