Sexual and Other Unlawful Harassment Statement

South Florida Security Group policy prohibits harassment of one employee by another or supervisor on the basis of an individual’s sex, race, ethnicity, age, religion, disability or any other legally protected characteristic. The purpose of this policy is to assure that each employee is able to accomplish his/her job without being subjected to harassment. Sexual harassment can include but is not limited to unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors and other verbal or physical con duct of a sexual nature. Other unlawful harassment can also take many forms such as actions, threats, words, jokes or denigrating comments based on protected characteristics.

Violation of this policy will lead to disciplinary action, up to and including termination for both employees and managerial staff members who participate or knowingly allow such misbehavior to go on. Any employee who feels he/she has been subjected to harassment of any nature should immediately report the matter to his/her supervisor. The greatest discretion will be utilized in investigating and, where appropriate, remedying improper conducts.
